Please join me in congratulating Jennifer Walker, instructor from the Department of Dental Hygiene.
Jennifer is a full-time instructor in the dental hygiene program at Hudson Valley Community College. Since joining the faculty in 2007, she has taken on a leadership role in the clinical component of the program. Her academic responsibilities include senior clinical coordinator, lecturer in preventive dentistry, and freshmen and senior clinical instructor.
She has extensive clinical practice in general dentistry. She is certified by New York State to monitor and administer nitrous oxide analgesia and to administer local infiltration anesthesia for dental hygiene treatment.
Jennifer is a graduate of the dental hygiene program at Hudson Valley Community College. She earned her B.S. degree in Community and Human Services at Empire State College and her Master’s degree in Education at American InterContinental University.
This is her second certification completion.
