Course Files, What’s That? Intro to Working with Blackboard Course Files
Each Blackboard course/organization has an area called Files (Course Files), which stores any file that is attached, imported, inserted, etc. into a course. By understanding the course files area you can better manage your Blackboard course materials. Within the files area you can: organize files, upload one or many files at once, link to one file many times, overwrite files so changes are reflected within the course, link to one file from many courses, create HTML objects, and more.

This workshop covers the basics of working within the Course Files area and you will learn how:

  • the Course Files area is set-up
  • to create and edit folders
  • to add files and overwrite existing files
  • to link to files and folders
