FERPA Guidelines and Policies for Faculty and Staff
Under the Federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, disclosure of information from a student’s education records is strictly limited and all colleges must have policies in place to comply with this law. College Registrar Kathy Petley will provide employees with specific information about what they can and cannot say/do in accordance with FERPA regulations here on campus. Bring your questions and get a better understanding of this important regulation and how it impacts the work we all do every day.
