A recent survey from Inside Higher Ed indicated that nearly 50 percent of community college students had a current or recent mental health issue, which included 36 percent of them experiencing depression. Additionally, the same survey indicated that fewer than half of those students surveyed were receiving treatment. The Center for Effective Teaching is offering a workshop that can help anyone understand depression and mood disorders.
