Chef Ric Orlando talks about seafood on Wednesday, Nov. 16

 

The Voices: A Library Lecture Series Committee is pleased to present “Seafood for Keeps” by Chef Ric Orlando on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at noon in the BTC Auditorium.

Ric Orlando, of New World Home Cooking in Saugerties and New World Bistro Bar in Albany, has been a vocal advocate for responsibly-sourced food for a quarter of a century. Orlando sheds light on and unravels the facts, information and misinformation swirling around the media and social media regarding farmed fish, wild fish, sustainability and the impact of individual choices on the world. Orlando will demonstrate cooking with responsibly sourced food.
