Congratulations to Hudson Valley’s Chief Diversity Officer Ainsley Thomas for being chosen to join the inaugural class of SUNY Black Leadership Institute fellows.
SUNY Chancellor John King announced the launch of the SUNY Black Leadership Institute on March 5. The initiative is modeled after the nationally recognized and highly successful Hispanic Leadership Institute, which aims to support, retain, and foster the success of emerging and current SUNY leaders.
The institute is designed for faculty and administrative professionals in leadership roles at their respective institutions. Fellows are guided through leadership assessments, interactive online and in-person workshops, and professional mentoring sessions designed to advance leadership skills.
