Clean technology program reaching capacity with first freshmen class

 

The early college high school program based at the college’s TEC-SMART facility in Malta is poised to reach its capacity by next fall when a new class of freshman enters the program that can accommodate nearly 300 students in grades nine through 12.

The early college high school program based at TEC-SMART is one of 16 programs awarded state funding to create new ways for high school students to enter the workforce in high-needs areas. All the early college programs funded by the state require partnerships between K-12 school districts, colleges and universities, and private companies.
