The college, in partnership with the Marvin Library Archives, has a project: A collection of books, journal articles, and artistic works authored or created by students, staff and faculty of the college (both past and present) called the College Authors and Artists Collection.
This is done to preserve a record of these works, and also to follow the authors and artists in their endeavors. Here is a link to the website describing the collection:

If you or any student or faculty/staff member you know has been published or had artwork displayed, please contact John Staerker (j.staerker@hvcc.edu or 629-7323) so it can be added to the collection. The article or artwork does not have to be academic in nature, just something that you or they singularly or with partners created.
