Hudson Valley Community College earned five awards for excellence in marketing at the 2016 SUNYCUAD (Council for University Advancement) conference held June 8 to 10 in Cooperstown, NY.
The college was honored with the “best in category” award for total/multimedia advertising programs. In addition, the Admissions Open House newspaper wrap earned top honors for individual advertising pieces. The college’s new 30 second TV commercial, YouTube promotion and internal communications campaign for summer enrollment each earned judges’ citations.
Overall, Hudson Valley earned more awards than any other community college and placed third among all SUNY institutions. Work submitted to the awards competition was produced within the past year in conjunction with the college’s marketing partners, Idea Agency and Tipping Point Communications.
SUNY CUAD provides professional development opportunities for college advancement professionals in the alumni relations, development, government relations and marketing. The annual conference was attended by nearly 250 SUNY colleagues.
