College introduces “Be bold. Be a Viking.” marketing campaign

 

Hudson Valley Community College is launching a new branding/marketing campaign that is the culmination of months of research and planning with our strategic marketing partner, Smith & Jones Idea Agency.

On April 16, more than 100 members of the campus community turned out for a “first look” at the college’s new branding during a presentation in the BTC Auditorium. If you weren’t able to make the presentation, you can view it here.

We encourage the entire campus community to learn about the college’s new marketing, and to understand what it means when we say “Be bold. Be a Viking.”  Video, radio, print and digital marketing aimed at fall recruitment will begin soon with this new theme, and we’re asking for your help in defining the college in a bold, forward-thinking way. Check out the “Viking Manual” branding guide, view some of our new ads (more will be posted shortly) and advocate for the college as we head into our critical fall enrollment push.

The office of Communications and Marketing will keep the campus community updated as we roll out the brand through these last few weeks of the spring semester and throughout the summer.
