Hudson Valley Community College is proud to be one of 75 founding institutional members of the Artificial Intelligence Incubator Network, a new initiative of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC), Dell Technologies and Intel Corporation, to design and build Artificial Intelligence incubators at community colleges and technical schools across the country. The national AI Incubator announcement was made yesterday.
According to the news announcement, “The AI Incubator Network supports the demand for higher education AI technical and literacy skills, recruits educators at community colleges to join the AI Incubator Network, and expands Intel’s AI for Workforce program by supporting them with the tools they need to teach AI courses.”
The college’s first initiatives will focus on implementing AI into our Advanced Manufacturing curriculum. Associate Dean Hector Rodriguez, Department Chair Linda Lim, faculty members Michelle Conway and Dean Odell and Director of External Partnerships and Economic Development Courtney Lamport, are involved in the effort.
