For the second year in a row, Hudson Valley Community College was voted third place best college in the Times Union’s 2016 “Best of the Capital Region” readers’ poll.
The official results were:
1) University at Albany
2) Siena College
3) Hudson Valley Community College
4) RPI
5) Union College
6) The College of Saint Rose
7) The Sage Colleges
8) Skidmore College
Hudson Valley again is the only two-year college to place among the top colleges in the region. Prior to 2015, the poll included a “best two-year college” category, in which Hudson Valley Community College took first place for six consecutive years (2009-2014).
The Times Union reported that 13,121 readers voted on 92 categories — up 14 from 2015 — in this year’s poll.
