Information on the college’s withdrawal process, the impact on a student’s financial aid and academic progress, will be the topic of discussion at the monthly Town Hall Meeting at the College Suites apartment complex at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.
College Suites and Hudson Valley are working together to ensure that student/residents are kept informed of academic support services, college policies, and building regulations. Louis Coplin, vice president for Enrollment Management and Student Development, said the management at College Suites “wants what the college wants” — for our students to be successful in the classroom and be responsible residents. This is another opportunity to encourage persistence and retention and teach students the responsibility of independent living. Coplin said its very important that our students recognize there’s a community partnership with the apartment complex in which more than 260 Hudson Valley students reside.
