Journey To Career, a symposium for Women Entering/Re-entering the Workforce, will be held on Wednesday, March 18 in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is presented by Women United of the United Way of the Greater Capital Region.
Journey To Career attendees will have the opportunity to hear from local professionals in a variety of fields — healthcare, hospitality, finance, technology and trades — on how to kick-start and develop their career. Discussion topics will include resume writing, interview preparation and networking skills.
All attendees will receive a professional head shot, CDTA day passes and a voucher to the Aesthetic Science Institute for a free facial. A SatisFASHION Pop-Up Boutique — buy a $5 shopping bag and fill it with professional attire of your choice — will be provided by Mission Accomplished.
Lunch, beverages and light refreshments will be offered throughout the day.
Reservations for Journey To Career can be made at unitedwayGCR.org/journey.
