Students from high schools around the region will gather in the BTC Auditorium on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. to compete in the regional Poetry Out Loud recitation competition.
The campus community and public is welcome to attend! Light refreshments will be served.
Scott Hathaway, chair of the Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media, will host the event. Judges will be Noah Kucij, Many Panza, Roseanne Raneri and GG Roberts. T.J. Mullen, an architecture student at Hudson Valley, will be scorekeeper.
The winner and runner-up will move on to the state finals to be held in March in Syracuse, NY.
