Commencement will be held on Saturday, May 18 at the Joe Bruno Stadium. Everyone working will be asked to arrive at the McDonough Sports Complex at 8 a.m. to sign in. Graduates and guests arrive at 9 a.m.
It is a fun event to work and typically ends around noon.
Workers are needed for a variety of tasks: some will be asked to welcome guests, collect tickets or pass out programs, others will help with guest seating, or be the field with the graduates helping with the flow of the program.
Please note: Commencement workers are hired through Manpower, a temporary services agency, not the college. Payment is directly through Manpower, so workers must complete Manpower’s application and submit copies of their ID and Social Security card/passport to them. Manpower representatives will come to campus to make the necessary copies, and all employees who’ve signed up to work at Commencement will be notified.
