As a follow-up to my email sent to all employees on Aug. 17 Re: Important Updates Related to Mask Usage and Student Vaccination Mandate, I am pleased to report that an email communication was sent last night to all students (25,784) who might be returning, are scheduled for classes or accepted for Fall 2021. This email is also programmed to continue to be sent to any student who schedules classes or gets accepted for the Fall 2021 term in the days ahead.
An updated version of that email has been posted to the COVID-19 Info webpage under the “Student Vaccination Mandate” button and the content of the COVID-19 page is also updated to reflect the policy changes. In addition, a letter is now being mailed to all students via USPS with the same information.
I appreciate your efforts in continuing to assist students seeking online or remote course options where possible and in addressing questions about college health and safety policies. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please let me know.
