Community & Professional Education sets record enrollment for Driver Education

Over 70 students are enrolled for the Spring 2021 Driver Education course offered through the Office of Community & Professional Education. Successful completion of the Driver Education course allows students to schedule for a road test, receive a possible reduction in automobile insurance cost and allows a student to drive after 9 p.m. when they reach the age of 17.

A record enrollment would not be possible without the assistance of the offices of both Information Technology Services and Distance and Online Learning, who were instrumental in converting this course into a remote learning experience for the students.

Registration for the Summer 2021 Driver Education course will begin later this spring.
