Caroline MotherJudge with Mitch Elrod
Noon – 1 p.m. Friday, March 11
Bulmer Telecommunications Auditorium
Americana alt-folk diva Caroline MotherJudge and the inimitable Mitch Elrod perform, write, teach and produce music throughout Upstate New York, drawing from influences that range from the country blues of Hank Williams and Ray Charles to the swampy rhythms and deep gospel soul sounds of Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Colonel Bruce Hampton. Painterly lyrics, soaring vocal harmonies and generous arrangements supported by great musicians showcase a broad songbook of originals and well-chosen covers.
Presented by the Cultural Affairs Program; free and open to the public.
