The Colonie Town Band presents Oakwood’s Summer Concert on the Lawn, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 24 at Oakwood Cemetery at the Oakwood Avenue (Route 40) entrance. The free event is presented by the Friends of Oakwood.
The Colonie Town Band performs a lively program of popular and classical music, including marches and show tunes. Bring your own chair or blanket and claim a spot on the lawn in front of the Gardner Earl Chapel. Children have the exciting opportunity to conduct the 60-piece band’s final march plus the Friends of Oakwood’s delicious strawberry shortcake is available for purchase
