Construction Will Impact Instruction Spaces in the Marvin Library

Effective with the start of the Spring 2012 semester, planned renovations within the Marvin Library building will be underway. The locations of services and collections, as well as access to public spaces will be impacted by construction activity. During the Spring semester, the Flexible Learning Space (FLS) located in the lower level will not be available due to construction activity surrounding that area.

In response to requests for instruction, the Library, Learning Centers and IMC will schedule instruction in alternate locations, using other instruction space identified on a case-by-case basis by building staff or the campus scheduling officer.

Please submit requests for instruction as soon as possible so we may plan for suitable instruction space to meet your needs. The FLS again will be available for scheduled instruction provided by the Library, Learning Centers, and Instructional Media Center in Fall 2012.

The FLS computers will be distributed to other locations within the Marvin Library building during construction to maintain access to computer resources for individual use.

We look forward to the improved facilities made possible by the renovations and appreciate your patience during the next eight months as we renovate to serve you better.
