Wind Down for Wellness

Often times our lives are all about being on the go, transitioning from one class to the next, from school to practice, from work to home, doing homework, studying, and spending time with friends and family. Our days can fill up fast and at times, life can be quite stressful. When we don’t address our stress, it can become overwhelming and that much more difficult to overcome.

Each week, Counseling and Wellness Services will be sharing coping skills and information about stress, anxiety and depression, to name a few, in an effort to assist you in “winding down for wellness.” Having a wide range of coping skills in our toolbox, allows us to better manage stress as it comes along, therefore improving our wellness.

For additional support contact Counseling and Wellness Services to schedule an appointment with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Our office is available for appointments Monday – Friday starting at 9 a.m. with our last session scheduled at 3 p.m. You may call us at (518) 629-7320, email us at counseling@hvcc.edu or stop in at room 260 in the Siek Campus Center to schedule an appointment.
