During the Spring 2017 semester, the college employed the services of Linnea LoPresti to perform an internal audit of course substitutions and to recommend a draft substitution policy. Ms. LoPresti has extensive expertise in this area as a former State Education Department program reviewer and as the HVCC/SUNY academic liaison for curriculum development and approval.
The college will be reviewing and revising the policy as the Academic Senate Chair will assign the Draft Course Substitution Policy to EPS (Educational Policies and Standards Committee) with the expectation that a recommendation will be forwarded to the President this year.
