CPE offers Excel by the Numbers, Part I and Part II, beginning Feb. 23

Excel by the Numbers: As Easy as 1 + 1: (Part I)
Thursday, February 23, 2023, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM –  Via Zoom ~ Register

In part one, we will begin with an introduction to the Excel window. Participants will learn Excel terminology as they explore the Ribbon, Tab, Group, Quick Access Toolbar, Title bar, Formula Bar Status bar, Worksheet grid area, and the Sheet tab.  During this segment, participants will learn how to manually create formulas and use the AutoSum feature to perform basic calculations.  Instruction and attention will also be focused on how to copy and paste formulas. At the completion of this segment, participants should be comfortable creating formulas; performing calculations using the AutoSum feature; and copying and pasting formulas.

Time permitting, in MPIV participants will learn how to Create and Modify a Pie Chart.

NOTE: Participants are encouraged to complete Excel by the Numbers: As Easy as 1 + 1: (Part II).

Excel by the Numbers: As Easy as 1 + 1: (Part II) – Monday, February 27, 2023   11:00 AM – 1:00 PM –  Via Zoom ~ Register

In Part Two, participants will build upon the knowledge acquired during the first segment, Part I.  They will create and utilize more complicated formulas which incorporate manually created formulas and functions to perform complex calculations.  Participants will also use functions such as the vLookup and If.

Participants are encouraged to complete Excel by the Numbers: As Easy as 1 + 1: (Part I) prior to taking this workshop.  However, a general familiarity and experience with Excel is sufficient.
