3.1 New Course – PSYC 105 – Honors Exploring the Future of Human Kind

The department seeks to offer additional courses to meet both the Honors course requirements and the degree requirements.
3.2 Change in Prerequisites – HONR 290 – Honor Seminar II

The proposal ensures students will be prepared with both appropriate information and academic experience for success in this course.
3.3 Change in Program Entrance Requirements – Electrical Construction and Maintenance A.O.S. Degree Program

The proposed change will provide for consistent entrance requirements for AOS programs in Building Systems Technology department and will require more appropriate preparation for students in this program.
3.4 Change in Degree Requirements – Digital Marketing A.A.S. Degree Program

The proposed changes will provide students with more appropriate course offerings allowing them to acquire skills more suitable to industry skill set requirements in this field.
3.5 Change in Contact Hours – MECT 100 – Interpreting Engineering Drawings

3.12 New Course – CISS 107 – IT Support and Help Desk Fundamentals

The department seeks to offer a new course that will provide students with best practices in customer service and IT Support/Help Desk methodologies.
3.13 Change in Course Description, Contact Hours – CISS 121 – Introduction to Network Administration

The department has determined that the lab component of this course is not necessary seeks to remove it along with providing an updated description of course topics.
3.14 New Course – CISS 130 – Internet of Things (IoT) Programming

The department seeks to offer a new course that provides an over-arching, top-down technical and business perspective of the Internet of Things (IoT) and a bottom up perspective of programming IoT applications.
3.15 New Course – HITC 110 – Medical Coding

The department has created this course to replace two existing course HITC 103 and and align the curriculum with the AAPC Certified Professional Coders curriculum which is delivered in a one semester format.
3.16 New Course – HITC 200 – Medical Billing, Insurance and Health Record Review

This course has been designed to replace the current HITC 101 and align with the AAPC curriculum.
3.17 Change in Course Title, Course Number, Course Description, Credit Hours, Contact Hours – HITC 107 – Health Information Management

The changes to this course are designed to reflect its status as an upper level course. The proposed changes will map to the content of the American Association of Professional Coders and the Certified Physician Practice Manager curricula.
