3.1 Reintroduction of a Course After 7 Semesters (No Changes) – MFTS 221 – Numerical Control Programming – Submitted by Anthony Kossmann
The department seeks to offer this course again as part of the Mechatronics degree program.
3.2 Change in Course Title – PHYS 101 – Physical Science II – Submitted by Ruth Major
This change in course title will more accurately reflect course content and will be less confusing as it is not a continuation of Physical Science I.
3.3 New Course – HIST 131 – Ancient History – Submitted by Leslie Johnson
The department seeks approval for this course as a new available elective that will be
a positive complement to our current Medieval History course.
3.4 Reintroduction of Courses After 7 Semester Hiatus with No Changes – SOCL 260- American Architecture in its Social Context – Submitted by Michelle Bannoura, PhD
This course is being reintroduced in response to the department’s interest in offering a wide variety of courses for the growing Liberal Arts Honors Program.
3.5 Change in Degree Requirements – Surgical Technology A.A.S. – Submitted by Shawn Jeune
The department seeks to implement a new grading policy to ensure high quality graduates who possess the skills to pass the certification exam. The proposal also removes the need for PSYC 100 to be taken with 5 years.

The department seeks to implement a new grading policy to ensure high quality graduates who possess the skills to pass the certification exam.
3.7 Reintroduction of Courses After 7 Semester Hiatus with No Changes – LABR 180 – Labor History – Submitted by Dr. Ann Geisendorfer
The department is reintroducing this course to enhance offerings for the Public Administration degree.

The department is reintroducing this course to enhance students’ knowledge in this area in preparation for their transfer to 4 year programs in this field

The department seeks to provide students with a wider variation of electives and greater flexibility in course scheduling.
