Day 3: 12 Days of Giving to benefit Joseph’s House

Dear Colleagues,

I’m delighted — but not surprised — to report that we’re on track to meet our goal to collect 1,200 items — 100 each day — of new, warm clothing and personal care products for the guests at Joseph’s House in Troy. Thank you to all those generous folks who’ve gotten the ball rolling!

Laurie Conroy is tracking contributions as reported daily by the eight collection locations and provides the attached Giving Tally that shows more than 100 items were collected on both Days 1 and 2. That’s very exciting; perhaps we can exceed the 1,200-item goal! (The tally does not include any monetary donations.)

If you’re out doing some holiday shopping this weekend, please think about picking up something for our cause. The priority items are listed on the tally sheet.

Donations, which should not be gift wrapped, may be dropped at:

ADM 140 – Human Resources (Dina Farr)
CTR 270 – Wellness Center (Claudine Potvin-Giordano)
EOC reception desk (Lucie Marion)
FTZ 157 – Dental Hygiene (Judy Dilorenzo)
GUN 163 – The Foundation (Lisa Mattes)
HUD 130 – Construction Technology (Chris LaPlante)
LNG 105 – Technology Advisement Center (Amy McEwing)
SCI 128 – School of Health Sciences (Laurie Conroy)

If you have questions, please feel free to contact me at c.bosco@hvcc.edu or (518) 629-7409 or Laurie Conroy at l.conroy@hvcc.edu or (518) 629-7887.

It’s heartwarming to see Hudson Valley employees join together to help those in our community who are less fortunate. Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Carol Bosco
Dean of Health Sciences
