On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the Dental Hygiene Department welcomed 35 freshman to campus for its inaugural Scale Up program.
The students met Dental Hygiene faculty members Laura Tubbs, Lisa Lavery, Kelly Smith and Jena Iversen, as well as peer tutors. Aaron Nooney, a learning strategies specialist in the Learning Assistance Center and Testing Office, offered a presentation on study skills.
The program was well received and provided the students an excellent start to their semester.
