Hudson Valley Community College’s Department of Dental Hygiene was invited to participate in the annual Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Health Expo held at Crossgates Mall on Oct. 16.
Dental Hygiene students and faculty provided oral hygiene instruction and dietary guidance with respect to food and beverages that may produce oral decay. Other providers/topics at the event included blood pressure screenings, a flu shot clinic, bone density screenings, tobacco cessation and more.
