Thank you to all online educators!
In honor of National Distance Learning Week, Nov. 7-11, 2016, the Center for Distance and Online Learning would like to thank our entire dedicated online teaching faculty for their hard work and efforts in making Distance Education what it is today. For this fall 2016 semester, Hudson Valley Community College campus would not have 8,838 student enrollments, in 469 of sections, taught by 180 faculty if it wasn’t for your dedication to online education!
We thank you for:
— your commitment to learning new and emerging technologies
— your willingness to stay current with online pedagogy
— your commitment to quality and to improving student success
— your early morning and late night attention to online student cries for help
— having complete and updated courses before the semester starts
For all of this and more, we express our sincere appreciation.
