The Division of Workforce Development and Community Education is pleased to offer a Dignity For All Students Act class.
The Dignity Act requires that all students in New York state public schools are afforded an environment free of discrimination and harassment (Education Law ยง10). Dignity Act: Training in Harassment, Bullying, Cyberbullying and Discrimination in Schools: Prevention & Intervention is a six-hour interactive program that examines the acts of harassment, discrimination and bullying as it relates to, but is not limited to, those acts based on a person’s actual or perceived race, color, weight, national origin, gender or sex. In this training, participants will engage in authentic conversations, activities and reflections about harassment, discrimination and bullying as well as exploring the impact of social constructs in their personal and professional lives.
Information and registration is available online.
