Diversity Task Force Report

During the 2008-09 academic year, the President established a Diversity Task Force with the charge to make advisory recommendations to the Senior Staff. The Diversity Task Force’s report was submitted to Senior Staff in January 2010. The report was reviewed and accepted by Senior Staff and the President in February 2010.

Consequently, the report and the recommendations were presented to the Board of Trustees at their March 2010 meeting. However, that report was never widely distributed to the college community. One of the recommendations brought forward in the Hudson Valley Community College Middle States Self-Study was that the report should be shared with the college community and that Senior Staff review the recommendations.

Therefore, as recommended in the college’s Self-Study Report, the Hudson Valley Community College Diversity Task Force Report is now available for review by the college community. Senior Staff will be revisiting the recommendations contained in the report and will consider the recommendations as part of the annual planning process.
