Do you need a job? Are you transferring to a college or university? The Center for Careers and Transfer can help!

The Center for Careers and Transfer develops partnerships within the college and with outside businesses and organizations in its efforts to provide students and alumni with varied employment opportunities. There are many vacant positions listed by employers throughout this area in the Online Job Bank.

Do you need to update your resume? The Career Counselors also provide individual assistance to create resumes and cover letters that stand out to potential employers. Information is available about other job search resources, strategies and networking. And, individual students can get help in preparing for job interviews, particularly in formulating and practicing answers to commonly asked interview questions.

Do you plan to transfer to a four-year college or university? Students are encouraged to work with the Center for Careers and Transfer early in their career at Hudson Valley Community College. Staff counselors can advise students on transfer course selection, GPA requirements and other details that will best prepare you for transferring to the college of your choice.

The Center for Careers and Transfer is sponsoring a Transfer Fair on Thursday, April 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come to the Campus Center, first floor and speak directly with transfer counselors from over 80 colleges and universities. Visit our Web page for additional information.

For further information, contact the Center for Careers and Transfer at (518) 629-7326 or visit the office in the Siek Campus Center, Room 290 (second floor).
