Dominic Herald, custodial supervisor in the Physical Plant Department, is a recipient of a 2019 Community Partners Award presented by The Arc of Rensselaer County. The award recognizes Dom’s long-time commitment to hire custodians from among The Arc’s clients, thus providing disabled individuals with the opportunity to be valued, contributing members of their community.
Dom, a two time Community Partners Award recipient, will receive his award during a celebratory breakfast on Oct. 23 at the Franklin Terrace Ballroom in Troy. The event is attended by more than 100 community partners of The Arc.
