Dear colleagues,
On May 21, 2016, I will be walking in the Take Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation Walk.
My husband, John, has been suffering from Crohn’s disease for 18 years. It has been a long battle with many ups and downs. Even after two bowel resection surgeries, medications and dietary restrictions, he still lives in pain every day. Last year John built up an immunity to Remicaid and the drug no longer works for him. Next he tried Humira and his body rejected it and caused him to become very ill. This left him unmedicated for a period time which caused his Crohn’s to flare and become active again. John had his first Enyvio infusion in early 2016. We are keeping positive thoughts and are hopeful that this drug will provide him with some relief. John and many others are running out of drug options! We NEED to find a cure! We cannot do it on our own and need all of your support.
I hope you will consider supporting me by clicking the link below to view my personal page. If you prefer, you can send your contribution directly to me in ADM 270 (checks can be made payable to CCFA). Your support is greatly appreciated!
