I am collecting donations for both the Fisher House and the Stratton Inn, both wonderful facilities located at the Stratton VA Medical Center.
Alumni Micheal Fitzpatrick, a graduate of the college’s Human Services Department, is director of the Fisher House. Both of these facilities house veterans and/or their families, who live 50 miles or more from the VA while the veteran is going through treatment (like the Ronald McDonald house).
Donations of the following items are greatly appreciated:
–small, travel-size soap, shampoo, conditioner
–white towels and wash cloths
–paper products (cups and plates)
–paper towels
–toilet paper
–hand-knitted slippers or lap robes (for woman)
