This little kitten, known as Rico, was rescued this summer. He and his sister were found near death, but were nursed back to health in foster care and the sister has been adopted. Weighing only two pounds at five months, Rico recently took a turn for the worse and now is hospitalized. His care costs almost $800 a day.
