The Albany Ronald McDonald House has served more than 17,000 families from across the country and around the world. The House is the cornerstone of RMHC of the Capital Region, providing a home away from home — free of charge — for families with children facing serious medical issues. Honors College student, Kaitlyn Wiese, fondly remembers a class trip she took in elementary to the Build A Bear store where she and her classmates made special gifts to donate to children receiving support from the RMHC. Now in her last semester at HVCC, Kaitlyn hopes to connect the campus community to learn more about the tremendous work being done by the RMHC of the Capital Region. You are invited to join Kaitlyn on a visit and tour the Albany Ronald McDonald House on Friday, February 21st at 3:30 p.m.
Location: 139 S Lake Ave, Albany, NY 12208
Kaitlyn is also collecting donations to make gift baskets for the families staying at The Albany Ronald McDonald House to give on the day of the visit! Donations can be dropped off at AMZ 314 by Friday, February 14.
