Maximilian Popiel is the 2011 winner of the Dr. Joseph J. Bulmer Award for Excellence in Library Research for his paper, “Understanding the Poor, Huddled Masses: Modern Acculturation Psychology.”
Maximilian was nominated by Associate Professor Michele Catone-Maitino of the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department.
He will be recognized at the annual Student Honors and Awards Reception on Thursday, May 19.
