Dr. Ernest R. (Rich) Rugenstein, an adjunct professor in the History, Philosophy and Social Sciences Department, will represent Hudson Valley Community College at the 2018 Canadian History of Education Association — Association canadienne d’histoire de l’éducation — Biennial Conference, Oct. 18-21, 2018 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
Rugesntein’s paper is entitled The Historical Impact on Education Caused by Multiple Governmental Jurisdictions on Akwesasne and is based on his book Akwesasne, Divided by more than the St. Lawrence River, available through Amazon. He currently uses the text in his course Native American Culture of New York and New England (HIST 205).
