We have had two small floods in Marvin Library Learning Commons this summer, including one that happened a couple of weeks ago. These floods are caused by backups in the roof drainage system. This system empties into the sewer system via a manhole just outside the building. The backups have been caused by a build up of paper towels in the manhole that the roof drains empty into.
Please refrain from putting paper towels into the toilets. We appreciate your help.
