An extra ZUMBA class will be held at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 in room 192 of the McDonough Sports Complex. This session is in addition to the drop-in fitness classes (see below) that Vice President MaryAnn Janosik will hold during January.
Everyone is invited to join Dr. Janosik for these fun workouts that are geared for all fitness levels; you work at your own pace. All classes are free! No sign up is required, just show up!

Body Works Plus Abs — MCD 192
Mondays, Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28 — 4:45 to 5:30 p.m.
This is a lightweight dumbbell workout done to the beat of the music. Burn calories as you move through a variety of exercises to sculpt and tone your body. You’ll notice improvements in your muscle tone, posture, balance and strength. A total body workout! Some small hand weights are available for use during class; you may want to bring your own plus a mat.

Get ready to party yourself into shape! Considered one of the best total body workouts and calorie-burners, this internationally popular, exhilarating, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, dance fitness-party™ will move YOU! Participants do not need to be good dancers or have previous dance experience. Just come with a positive attitude and plan to have fun!
Participants in either class should wear comfortable workout clothing and athletic (cross-training or running) shoes. Bring water!
