The Education Club recently distributed children’s books to the Schenectady City Mission for families in need. Student members selected children’s literature and created related developmentally-appropriate activities to supplement the books.
The books were donated to the Mission’s Toy Store, where a book is placed in the hands of every child that enters the store. Student Club President Ariana Saffares will present this initiative to the Education Advisory Board meeting on April 29.
