Emeritus Professor William Staats pens second book, outlining humorous anecdotes from his years at HVCC

Emeritus Professor William Staats has written a second book, available just in time for the holidays.

“Campus Capers on the Hudson,”  a 300-page collection of often-hilarious experiences from nearly 50 years of college and high school teaching, joins his earlier family history book, “Three Centuries on the Hudson River.”

“Three Centuries on the Hudson River” is the history of a 1696 Dutch homestead on the east  bank of the Hudson River which has been owned and occupied by the  Staats family for 12 generations.

Both books are available from Amazon  at $19.95, or on Kindle/Droid, IPad, etc.  for $9.99, including shipping and tax.

Autographed copies are available by phoning (518) 258-4648 or you can e-mail hoogebergh@aol.com.

Staats was a 1994 recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award and a professor of accounting at the college for three decades.
