On Friday, Aug. 19, there was a fire at the Valley Green Apartments on Morrison Avenue that displaced residents, many of whom are Hudson Valley Community College students. With the support and outreach of many staff members, we were able to contact the affected students and provide them with gift cards, resources, housing options, access to the Viking Cupboard, replacement books, and dental hygiene kits.

Household Donations
In a continuing effort to assist our students, the Student Activities Office accepts small kitchen and/or household goods and appliances that will be offered to students and families in need.
Many of our students are living away from home and are in need of essential items such as toasters, tea kettles, small microwave ovens, coffee makers, dishes, irons, etc.
Items may be brought to the Student Activities Office (CTR 210) during office hours.
Please note: Donations are limited to new items only.
Viking Cupboard Donations
The Viking Cupboard is in need of donations of non-perishable items. Donations may be dropped off at the Student Activities Office (CTR 210) Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Powdered or shelf-stable milk
