GE ENERGY
GE Energy will be hosting a table on the 1st floor of the Siek Campus Center on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012 from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. We are coming to recruit for our newly established Skilled Trades Internship Program. The attached flyer contains all necessary information about the internship.
We are looking for students who have completed their first semester in one of the programs listed below and are on track to finish their first year by May/June 2013. This summer internship is paid and is a great opportunity for students who have a strong interest in working in skilled trades upon graduation.
We also have several full time skilled trades positions available for students who are graduating in December 2012-June 2013.
Interested students should come speak with a GE representative on October 2nd!

GE Energy in Schenectady, NY is seeking current students who have completed at least one full
year of course studies (30+ credits relevant to their degree) in one of the following AOS/ASS programs:
Construction Electrical/Construction
Heavy Equipment Operation Electrical Technology
Construction & Maintenance Automotive Discipline
Mechanical Discipline Plant Utilities Technology
Plumbing & Steam Fitting HVAC
GE Skilled Trades Internship
The Skilled Trades Internship Program is a 12-week, paid program designed to provide a unique
learning experience for highly motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in skilled trades upon graduation. Interns will be paired with current team members in the following roles: crane maintenance, electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, mechanical maintenance, equipment maintenance, vehicle equipment maintenance, plumbing and steam fitting.
Requirements:
Students must have a cumulative average of 3.0 or better to be considered.
Students with prior skilled trade experience will be given preference.
