This past semester the Foundation and the Instructional Support Services and Retention Department collaborated to present the Empowerment Series Program, a series of workshops aimed at empowering Hudson Valley Community College students.
These interactive workshops featured campus and community leaders who shared their experiences and invited attendees into conversations pertaining to leadership and success. We are proud to celebrate the immense success of the workshop series and are thankful to the nearly 60 students who attended.
Special thanks to the Empowerment Committee — Jessica Gilbert, Ian LaChance, Regina LaGatta and Katherine Tomisman as well as Geoff Miller and Justin Newton, and the Office of Special Events, Physical Plant, Mazzone Hospitality, and Associate Dean Karen Ferrer-Muniz.
