Known for a commitment to rhythm and the drum as a central medium of communication and inspired by the social and religious music of Cuban Congeros, Ensemble Congeros is a group of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute alumni and students.
Ensemble Congeros is led by founder and artistic director Eddie Ade Knowles, who is an accomplished musician and professor in RPI’s Department of the Arts.
This free event is open to all and will be held Thursday, Nov. 13 at noon in the BTC Auditorium.
The concert is presented by the Cultural Affairs Program.
