Entrepreneurship Student Expo on Friday, Dec. 7

 

Students enrolled in the Introduction to Entrepreneurship class will display their final projects on Friday, Dec. 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Siek Campus Center.

The displays on will include custom woodworking, restaurants plans (with sample menu items), and new apps.

Faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend and view the student projects that are the culmination of a semester’s long project to develop a business concept. Students work in teams while they learn about the steps required to start a business, including market validation, legal requirements and competitive analysis.

On Thursday, Dec. 6, the Entrepreneurship students will showcase their projects for students enrolled in the Early College High School Program at TEC-SMART (345 Hermes Road, Malta ) from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This is a free event, but registration is requested at Eventbrite.

Projects on display at TEC-SMART include a gift app for college students, a portable charging vending machine, and build-your-own computer store.
