EOC Culinary Arts program wins another award

 

On Sunday, Jan. 18, the CulinChili and Wing Challenge 2015ary Arts program participated in a Chili and Wing Challenge hosted by Catholic Central High School and St. Augustine’s School in Troy. Chef Joe Forget and student Warren Burras were awarded the Golden Spoon as the first-place winners for their Chili with Spanish Rice entry.

This is the third award the Culinary Arts program has won this year after winning 2nd place Judges All Around and 3rd place People’s Choice awards at the Troy BID Chowderfest in October.

The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) delivers comprehensive, community-based academic and workforce development programs, and provides support services leading to enhanced employment opportunities, access to further education, personal growth and development. The EOC is an educational institution that serves eligible adult learners.
